Movie by Moonlight

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and get ready for a Free" Movie by Moonlight!"

Exodus Payment Systems is excited to present the animated feature film “Rio,” shown on a 25 ft. inflatable movie screen at the Blackshear City Park, on Saturday, July 16th. The movie will begin at dark. Admission is free to the public.

The feature film by Twentieth Century Fox, which follows the story of colorful macaws Blu and Jewel through their ...adventures in Rio de Janerio, has just left the cinemas. According to Exodus marketing director, Christopher Sweat, this will be a rare pre-DVD release presentation of a film at an outdoor venue.

“We wanted to do something different and special to give back to people in the local area that have helped us out with the pilot phase of our Community Card program,” he said. “This type of event has proven to be very successful in other cities and the park is an ideal location for the community to come together and enjoy a movie on a beautiful summer evening. We’re also very fortunate to be able to feature one of the top films of 2011 before it’s released on DVD.”

According to Exodus CEO, Joan McNeal, this particular movie includes a message as well. “We chose this film because it has a distinct tie-in with an issue that our company is focused on: identity theft. In a round-about way, the main character of the movie deals with the perils of losing his identity and how difficult it is to regain it.”

The movie is brought to you with the support of the Blackshear Better Hometown Program and Exodus’ merchants and business partners. Vendors will be set up at the event to provide refreshments before and during the movie. Special prizes will be given away as well. Promotional details will be announced soon and those interested should keep an eye on the digital sign atop Exodus’ headquarters.

No coolers or Alcoholic beverages will be allowed at the event.
